This course is destined to the people who are interested on the record production and show markets and, because of that, need to know some music basics. Its goal is to unify the language of engineers, musicians and producers. The most important musical concepts of each style will be approached in this course.

Methodology

Totally based on ear training methods, drives the student to learn music without, necessarily, having to play any instrument. At the beginning we approach the Anthropology of music and the nature of Sound, focusing on the relation between human pulses with the diversity of musical pulses. Then, we will study the basic concepts of musical theory through the training and development of perception. Using a new way of hearing and analysing music, the student will learn to interpret and preceive rythm, harmony, melody and instrumentation of different musical esthetics and cultures in a simple, natural way.
