Hands-on Practice Room
120m³ room projected to offer our students practical lessons and direct, individual contact with every equipment. There are 10 complete racks, two systems equipped with both analog and digital mixers, plus, one completely digital workstation. Every week students divide themselves into two groups of 12, allowing each student to have a full rack for his own experiments. The racks may be interconnected using a patchbay, which allows the students to compare, at their will, the performance of all equipment available in the room. Also, we give the practical lessons of connections and setup in this room, from simple to very sophisticated systems including active and passive crossovers, digital processors, speaker connections in series and/or parallel, acoustical summing, speaker directivity, equalization and PA system alignment.
