Graduated on Communications, RTV Course in FAAP (SP) in 1991. Has been working professionally with Audio for about 20 years and has been responsible for the live sound reinforcement of many national and international artists' shows, such as: Paco de Lucia, Rosa Maria, Fábio Jr. and Legião Urbana. Has many articles published in magazines like: Cover Teclado, Backstage, Música e Tecnologia, In Concert, among others. Marcelo is the Director and one of the founders of IAV, being responsible for the great revolution in the Brazilian Audio culture in the last decade. He has worked as a consultant for Yamaha Musical do Brasil in 1998 and 1999, and Selenium, between 2000 and 2001. He was responsible for the Sound Designer project of the Musical "Cambaio" - Directed by João Falcão, the musical direction of Lenine, Edu Lobo and Chico Buarque's compositions, and the Broadway Musical "Vitor ou Vitória", at its Brazilian version, produced and directed by Jorge Takla and starred by Marília Pera. He has also participated in all AES Brazil's events to date, being a lecturer in four editions. Claret represented, together with other active professionals, the Audio Technician category in the formation of the new CBO which took place between 2000 and 2001, idealized by the Work Ministry and put in practice by UFMG. He has also been a lecturer on the 2 nd Audio Minas event, and on the 1 st SEMEA he participated as a guest. He has ministered small courses and seminars in Rede Globo and Senac; all dealing with Audio-related subjects.
